Lithuanian Countryside Tourism Association

Lithuanian Countryside Tourism Association (LCTA) is a national level association uniting 60% of countryside tourism service providers in Lithuania, with nearly 400 members and 5 employees working in the administration. Main goals and activities of the association are: to represent interests of the Association members at management institutions and other organizations; to coordinate the activities of the Association members developing rural tourism in Lithuania as well as promoting the rural tourism products; to organize workshops, conferences, fairs, exhibitions, to prepare methodical means and information bulletins on the activities of the Association and its members; to improve the qualification of the Association members, to organize traineeships within the country and abroad; to analyze the demand for rural tourism services within the country and abroad and do marketing of members services.


Linas Zabalunas does coordinating and management of the association activities and stuff. Worked as Inbound tourism to Lithuanian service provider - guided tours and excursions. LCTA administration staff involved in the project are professionals in the field of rural tourism, active in rural tourism promotion and marketing. Managing main rural tourism web portal as well as actively promoting rural tourism services on social networks. Has a strong motivation to improve the service. Has a lot of experience working in different national and international work groups and workshops. Has a capability to adopt IT technologies and involve the members of using it as well as to involve the members to participate in surveys and evaluate the results. Has lecturing work experience working at Lithuanian Chamber of Agriculture.
